What to wear on a hot rainy day?

Hi!:) today its going to be rainy and hot!! I was thinking about wearing a brown mini skirt and a nice white top? What should I wear? Does that outfit sound alright? The reason I am asking this is because I am goin to skool later and I don't want to be the only 1 wearing shorts/ skirt. Ok thx
