The chinese restaurants I've been too in China haven't served me any fortune cookies. I don't really know the names of the food, but where I've been in China has seemed to have a really different cuisine than restaurants in other countries with chinese food. We got served a lot of wet food, like meatballs that looked like brains floating in a fluid of sorts, dumplings that were dripping wet, fish that looked entirely raw, head and all. I was a bit grossed out, honestly.
