Neurological studies have shown that some brains are predisposed to regard the supernatural as real and other brains are predisposed to regard the supernatural as absurd. It may have something to do with the efficiency of dopamine uptake. I would suggest that you go with your nature, read some books on atheism and you'll feel better about walking on the rational side.
