I've had several customers that I've greeted at my store job that have said they like my name, because it is their name too, both men and women (Pat for short). The last person was a man and he asked me if I was Irish. I told him I had a grandfather who was Irish and he said almost all people named Pat are Irish. Is this generally true for many names, especially of people who are Seniors or middle-aged before people got so creative in naming their babies?
