For those who have DirecTV?

Ok so I am a current DirecTV customer (Or my mom) and every month or week the sattelite starts over or restarts. I was wondering if that ever happens to any other current DirecTV customers? That you are watching your TV show and all of the sudden the DVR restarts and your pissed off... I'm asking cause it happens repeadetly to us
